WWE was reportedly unhappy that the news leaked about the project that related to Sting, with the orchestra, etc., which we wrote about earlier this week.While the deal isn't a WWE project specifically, it is for a company that has a business relationship with the company and would be in some form-or-fashion related to WWE.
Apparently this project would be happening whether or not Sting signs with WWE, although it would clearly be more advantageous if he were to sign
Regarding Sting's status with WWE, the general consensus seems to be that the two sides are close enough to a deal that the feeling is it will inevitably happen.
