Jim Ross Comments on WWE Releases

Following WWE’s decision to release 11 members of its talent, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross took to his blog on JRsBarBq.com to comment on the matter.

"Ross may very well be no stranger to being released by WWE. While he “retired” from the company on September 11, 2013, it is highly speculated that Ross was actually fired. In fact, in January of 2014, Ross confirmed that he was released by WWE due to his role in a “WWE 2K14″ panel ,which was out of control to say the least."

Below are Ross’ words on WWE releasing a slew of talent on Thursday, June 12:

Days like these are exactly the reason that I have stressed, and often times been criticized, for preaching that all wrestling personnel have a viable plan B. It’s not fair to one’s family to not have a plan B especially in the volatile world of pro wrestling, pro sports and entertainment, in general.

The demise of the territories rears it’s ugly and much missed head again on days such as this.

For the young talents that are now non WWE talents, your dreams can still come true if that’s the path with which you choose to commit. One thing is for sure….if one turns in their jersey then the game is over…your time has run out…and it’s time to explore other options that hopefully are more structured and less volatile. In other words, don’t quit if being in the business still resonates in your heart. By no means should any one cease attempting to live their dreams simply because they are no longer working in WWE or any other company for that matter.”

Batista Cuts Promo After NXT Tapings, Legends House Reunion, More

- Indie wrestlers Aaron Solow and Jonny Vandal worked Thursday night’s WWE NXT tapings at Full Sail University. They faced NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension in a match that will air on July 24th. Vandal has worked at least one other NXT tapings match this year.

- WWE has confirmed that there will be a special Legends House Reunion episode that airs next week on the WWE Network. This is what was filmed earlier this year in Orlando. Jerry Lawler will be hosting.

- Batista appeared after Thursday’s NXT tapings and came to the ring for a promo. He talked about how the NXT fans are always chanting and thanked them for their support. He was interrupted by Bo Dallas, who was “kissing up” to Batista. This was described as a very funny segment with fans chanting “Bo-tista.” Batista ended up hitting a Batista Bomb on Bo. WWE sometimes releases the NXT dark segments online so we may see this one soon.

DID BATISTA EARN FANS’ RESPECT?

When it comes to Batista’s latest run, one could argue that management hit him with a bait and switch. He was promised that he would win the Royal Rumble and go on to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. Instead, he was practically booed out of the building after winning the Royal Rumble and ended up tapping out to the Yes Lock at WrestleMania to allow Daniel Bryan to win the championship.

As most probably know by now, Batista “quit” on this past week’s Raw, as he will be taking a few months off to promote his new movie Guardians of the Galaxy. Upon return after a several year hiatus, Batista represented what many feel is wrong with the current state of the WWE.

Instead of relying on the guys that work day in and day out to headline the biggest pay-per-views of the year, the WWE has instead relied upon part-time superstars such as the Rock and Brock Lesnar to headline their biggest events. The reliance on part-time superstars is one of the reasons a certain someone (*cough* CM Punk *cough*) decided to pack his bags and head home.



Batista did not win a title after returning, but he was involved in a memorable feud between Evolution and the Shield.

However, despite all of the criticism Batista has received since returning, one has to wonder if he earned the respect of fans. In my opinion, I think it is fair to say that he did just that.

In the end, Batista was promised the world but was basically handed a half-empty bag of peanuts. Following the Royal Rumble, which featured an extremely hostile Pittsburgh crowd, it became apparent that Batista’s wishes would not be granted. The company was quickly forced to turn him heel, which messed with the dynamics of the WrestleMania main event, which featured a heel champion in the form of Randy Orton.

It all started when Triple H ordered the shield ,batista,Randy Orton to attack Bryan during his Match.The shield attacked instead of attacking bryan attacked these two.Coo of WWE took his revenge by putting them in 3 on 11 handicap match and then he formed a team with batista and Orton the evolution . Awesome isn't it.So like other guys I am with the shield but I don't think that shield stands a chance but  remember shield has even beat undertaker kane and bryan so by formation I don't think that The so called evolution stands a  chance.I will Put prediction and alerts and also fixings i will be updating  you guys on this page stay close to it .

Triple H started the show. He then started to talk about the shield . He told they were the greatest talent he has seen all through the year that were created by him.He then said that the evolution has returned that will destroy the shield at Extreme Rules.The Upcoming match was Big E Langston VS Alberto Del Rio.

The match was good. At one moment del rio countered with cross arm breaker. Big E  Reached the ropes but Del Rio Didn't let the move go . That became the reason of disqualification in end Big E turned and hit his beautiful finisher big ending on him.

This was the main event of tonight.Incredible match . It was looking like the celtic warrior was taming the animal but batista is batista. Batista tried to hit Batista Bomb but sheamus countered it with Back Breaker. But at the end batista successfully hit batista bomb to get the victory.

However, given the events that transpired on the March 10 edition of Raw, the main event could gain a new participant: Thanks to a decision by WWE COO Triple H, if Daniel Bryan wins his match against The Game on April 6, he will gain entry into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match, turning the bout into a Triple Threat! But Triple H changed the game just one week later, stating that the winner of that bout (be it Bryan or The Game himself) will compete in a Triple Threat Match with the title on the line!

Long before that development, Batista punched his ticket to a WrestleMania main event in New Orleans by overcoming 29 other Superstars to win the Royal Rumble! Match in January. The contest was his first match back after a nearly four-year absence from the ring. Upon returning to WWE, the always-candid Batista made his objective perfectly clear: to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title in the main event of WrestleMania 30.

Although Orton has knowingly eyed Batista as his No. 1 contender since Royal Rumble, The Viper’s path to the main event of The Showcase of the Immortals was anything but guaranteed. To ensure his spot, Orton had to first survive a supremely competitive Elimination Chamber Match lineup on Feb. 23 with his championship reign intact. Thanks in part to interference by Bray Wyatt and Kane — each of whom took John Cena and Daniel Bryan out of the championship picture, respectively — WWE’s Apex Predator slithered out of the Chamber with the title still his.

Now, The Face of WWE is set on a collision course with a Superstar who is all too familiar with his ruthless mindset.

Orton and Batista spent their formative years together as the two junior members of Evolution — one of the most powerful factions in wrestling history, guided by Triple H and WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair. Although they spent many months fighting side-by-side, Batista and Orton’s subsequent ring wars are also well documented. Batista even dethroned Orton to win his first WWE Championship in June 2009 – in New Orleans, no less.

Both Superstars have grown by leaps and bounds since their nascent days as mere pupils of The Game and “The Nature Boy.” Despite his hiatus from the ring, Batista — newly empowered by his Jiu-Jitsu studies — has proven in his comeback to be every bit as destructive as he was years ago. Former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio found that out the hard way at Elimination Chamber, when Batista downed him with an explosive Batista Bomb. And even though Orton’s merit to be called The Face of WWE has been called into question, there is no denying The Viper has found ways to hold onto the WWE World Heavyweight Title in even the direst of straits.

With the unification of the WWE and World Heavyweight Titles last December, this year marks the first time in more than a decade that there has been a single World Champion at WrestleMania, adding an even greater air of grandiosity to the proceedings. Mighty Beast Batista Came out to tell that denial Bryan is being cheered up by the fool fans for no good reason . (at least Bryan doesn't talk  about you in this manner) He then started to talk about Stephanie McMahon . He talked about how hard she slaps and then he said she may be his hardest opponent in Wrestle Mania 30 . Triple H came out from backstage to ring when this comment was made by Batista . He told Batista to keep his  wife out of this business. He  said that Batista you are making thing Personal. Batista replied that Stephanie is the reason that Triple H is wearing this tip top suit with a VIP tie. He also said that earlier Triple H said that Batista was trying to relive his former glory. Batista reminded that He beat Triple H every time they faced each other in the past.  He said that sure was a while ago then Batista became lazy and went to Hollywood after quitting from WWE .He said since he is back he has barely seen The little Animal to come out in ring . He said tonight is chance for batista to prove himself in front of fans by defeating Sheamus. HHH left the ramp .

As it has to be . This match was one sided from the very start . The shield treated them like little kids. In the late match rolin dove mahal to the  ring side and also hit his finisher to get the one sided easy victory for his team.Post-Match  : Kane came out and said well it was easy lets see how good you do against Ryback and Curtis Axel .

Now this match was awesome and it deserved to be awesome .Although it was a handicap match but the strength of Ryback was awesome. At the end ambrose hit  his curb storm finisher to get the victory for his team . Post Match : Reigns hit spear on Ryback ad the shield performed triple powerbomb on Ryback.

Good match . Sin Cara treated Sandow like  a little kid . But at some moments it looked like that Sandow was gonna get the victory . But in the end Sincara Rolled sandow for the victory

Backstage Renee Young was talking to Big Show abou this match tonight against bray Wyatt. He said what they did to Cena on Raw was disturbing . but what they say has some truth in it. HE said he has a  big problem on his hand tonight but so they do.
Fandango VS Goldust
Good match I was expecting goldust to win but in the end Fandango used some tactics to get the victory for himself.But a match that is good and fought with full zeal . It doesn't matter who wins.

Sheamus defeated Batista due to disqualification. Late in this one, Sheamus started to make his comeback with multiple clotheslines and a big knee lift. Batista rolled onto the apron, but Sheamus tried to grab him to beat on Batista’s chest. Instead, Batista yanked Sheamus against the ropes to counter. Moments later, Sheamus was able to club Batista on the chest on the apron. Sheamus was in control and prepared for a Brogue Kick, but Batista escaped the ring. On the outside Batista grabbed a chair which he used to ram into Sheamus’ gut, causing a DQ. Post-match, he kept on beating up Sheamus with the chair before tossing him into the ring post. Back in the ring he Batista Bombed Sheamus before getting on the mic to ask HHH and the crowd if they were all happy. He said he’ll be leaving Wrestlemania 30 as new champ and they all should just deal with it.



Bray Wyatt was shown for a promo talking about how we all wear a mask for one reason or another. He said if you continue to hide behind it or try to use it to fit in for long enough, the mask becomes you. He said if you remove the mask, you remove your own sin. Bray said he’s broken John Cena now and the mark on his should will be there forever. He said tonight the sword slays a giant and it’s a gift for John Cena. He said “all lies will be revealed under the cypress tree.” Bray started signing “he’s got the whole world in his hands..” to close out another creepy promo segment.

The Bella Twins defeated A.J. Lee and Tamina via pinfall. Vickie Guerrero was on commentary during the bout. Late in the match, Brie kneed Tamina in the face, then hit a missile dropkick. Tamina fled to the outside of the ring. AJ and Tamina started arguing, which caused Tamina to leave AJ on her own. Brie hit a Facebuster on AJ for the win.



Jack Swagger defeated Jimmy Uso via submission. Late in the match, Jimmy went for the Butt Splash, but Swagger managed to get low and clip his leg as Jimmy charged. From there, Swagger put on the Patriot Lock to get the victory.



Mark Henry defeated The Miz via pinfall. The match lasted nearly four minutes. At one point, Henry threw Miz into the steps and barricade on the outside. Moments later, he tossed Miz back in the ring and hit World’s Strongest Slam for the win



Bray Wyatt defeated Big Show via pinfall. Harper and Rowan were at ringside for Wyatt. Show used his strength and power to have an early advantage, and hit the chest slaps. At one point, Wyatt avoided an elbow drop by Big Show then hit kicks and elbows on him. He hit a running denton for a two count. Later, Wyatt did his hang upside down in the corner and crab-walk routine. He tried to charge at Show but was clotheslined down. Moments later, Show missed a charge of his own and Wyatt hit a splash on him. Show hyper-extended his knee on an attempted boot kick as Wyatt charged. Bray was able to splash Show and then distract the ref enough to allow Harper to get in a shot on Show. Wyatt grabbed Show and hit Sister Abigail to finish him for a pinfall. Smackdown closed with Bray Wyatt standing over Big Show on the mat and laughing about it.

The show Opened with Hulkamania coming to the ring. He told about different matches of past wrestlemania including the greatest matches of Macho Man Randy Savage and Andre the Giant and Ultimate Warrior. He said that in the honour of legend Andre the giant there will be a 30 man andre the giant battle royal with a winner getting a trophy made for the likeness of the superstar .John Cena Came to the ring he hugged his former tag team partner and a great friend and he officially announced his name for the battle royal for wrestlemania 30.
After some time the wyatts interrupted him.They came to the ring and talked banter . Their verbal banter begun. Cena challenged bray wyat to a wrestlemania 30 match . Bray Accepted but the  was that cena wont be participating in the 30 man battle royal. Cena accepted . Bray started laughing and said cena is the one who had made a series of empty promises in the history.Wyatts got inside the ring for which the hulkamania and cena were ready to fight.

The Hulk Hogan was at ring side for  cheering john Cena.This match went awesome from the very start.In the match Eric sent cena towards bray and luke harper.Cena like a super cena quickly beat him with a roll up pin.After the match it was looking like bray was ready to attack but he aint done that. Cena and the great hulk hogan posed to close the match.

Raw Results 4/2/14

Welcome to my another post.
The Monday night Raw was from Chicago and if Chicago is here than chicago made punk (CM Punk) must be here.So this show was opened with Cm Punk music hitting.There was electrifying crowd cheering punk .After some time there cheers transferred into boo boos boo cause They saw Paul Heyman coming to ring.Still the crowd never stopped chanting punk punk. Heyman said this man here deserves more than  that.Heyman said the fans have to be guilty becuase due to them punk left him and when he was with him he was the longest reigning WWE Champion of modern era.but when he left him he is the same old boring punk that cant wrestle like professionals.Heyman told that undertaker is also to be blamed CM punk was not able to break his streak now his client the beast brock lesnar will do the remaining task.



Lesnar came to the ring.He said He will take the revenge for his insult on monday night raw.He said that at wrestlemania the undertaker has to face his fist of fury.and after that he attacked me on monday night raw HE will pay that at wrestlemania.After that henry came down to ring Brock started taunting him after that a brawl started first henry got the upper hand then brock beat him and set a F5 on announcer table .



So the first match  of the night was about to set up and It was the Usos vs The New Age Outlaws for the wwe tag team championship. WHo WHo

This match was as exciting as it got to be .This match can crowd new champion or old  champions can retain .So lets wait and watch .This match was good from the start the new age outlaws got the upper hand on Jey Uso. After a short commercial Jey Uso Was able to make a hot tag to his brother. HE beat the both outlaws billy was able to make a comeback in this match. and hit a fameeaser .After some time jimmy tagged in  jey.Jimmy and road dogg fought outside.Meanwhile jey managed to hit a big splash to get the victory for both brothers.As I said new champions were crowned
