A Ridiculously Early WrestleMania 31 Card

I admit that it is far too early to be predicting the card for WrestleMania 31, as so much can and will change between now and then. However, as details start to emerge regarding some potential plans for the event, I decided to do a blog about how I would book WrestleMania 31.
2nd Annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal: Big Show vs Rusev (w/Lana) vs Big E vs Bo Dallas vs Sheamus vs Jack Swagger vs The Great Khali vs Heath Slater vs Tyson Kidd vs Justin Gabriel vs Adrian Neville vs Fandango vs Adam Rose vs The Miz vs Kofi Kingston vs Xavier Woods vs R-Truth vs Titus O'Neil vs Darren Young vs Rob Van Dam vs Razor Ramon vs Diesel vs Rowdy Roddy Piper
One of the main feuds heading into the Battle Royal will be between Big Show and Rusev, each man claiming they are the most physically dominating man in the match: Big Show desperate to win the battle royal in honour of Andre and Rusev wanting to continue his dominance. Also, to add some excitement to the match, I'd have some surprise entrants in the form of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel and "The Bad Guy" Razor Ramon, Scott Hall defiantly deserves a WrestleMania moment.
Winner: Rusev
Rusev wins thus asserting his dominance and continuing the Rusev crush, WWE should be in no hurry to rush Rusev into the main event, because once a dominant heel does the job to the top babyface, its all down hill from there, ask: The Great Khali, Ryback, Mark Henry and so on.
WWE Tag Team Championship: The Usos (c) vs Cody Rhodes & Bad News Barrett
The Usos retain the championship against all comers and their latest challenge comes in the form of Bad News Barrett and the newly heel Cody Rhodes, who turned on Goldust and ditched the Stardust gimmick.
Winners and NEW Tag Team Championship: Bad News Barrett & Cody Rhodes
New heel champions in Bad News Barrett and Cody to freshen up the Tag Team Division.
WWE Divas Championship: Paige (c) vs AJ Lee vs Alicia Fox vs Charlotte
Paige, AJ Lee and Alicia Fox spend most of 2014 battling over the Divas Championship, at the turn of the year Charlotte debuts and stirs the pot in the Divas division. As WrestleMania approaches all four Divas find themselves with a claim for a shot at the title, and a fatal four way is made.
Winner and NEW WWE Divas Champion: AJ Lee
AJ Lee wins her third Divas Championship and proves that she is The Best Diva In The World.
No Disqualifications Match: Randy Orton vs Dean Ambrose
The WWE World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber came down to Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, just as it looks like "The Lunatic Fringe" is going to win the World Title, Randy Orton popped up from the chamber floor and hit an RKO on Ambrose costing him the match. Ambrose promises to make Orton's life a misery and attacks him time and time again. A match is made between the two to settle their differences at WrestleMania.
Winner: Dean Ambrose
WWE Intercontinental Championship: Cesaro (c) (w/Paul Heyman) vs Chris Jericho
Cesaro wins the upcoming Intercontinental Championship battle royal at Battleground and goes onto have a successful run with the title not only defending it against the likes of Kofi Kingston, Big E and Bad News Barrett but also unified the IC title with the United States Championship against Sheamus. As WrestleMania time rolls round Chris Jericho returns and challenges Cesaro to a match for the IC championship. Cesaro agrees on the condition that Chris Jericho puts his career on the line.
Winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion: Chris Jericho
Cesaro dominates the match but Jericho pulls out the win with a roll up. Cesaro wins the title back in a Ladder Match at Extreme Rules.
Tag Team Match: John Cena & Bray Wyatt vs Luke Harper & Erick Rowan
Bray Wyatt is completely rocked when Luke Harper and Erick Rowan turned on him and left him laying in the middle of the ring. Luke Harper claimed that he and Erick Rowan were now following a new leader and he has ordered them to destroy Bray Wyatt! Outnumbered, Wyatt finds the most unlikely of allies, when John Cena ran out to save him. This sets up a unique Tag Team Match at WrestleMania as Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, under the control of their new leader battle the sworn enemies, turned tag team partners in Cena and Bray
Winners: John Cena & Bray Wyatt
Cena and Wyatt get the win at WrestleMania to continue the feud with Harper and Rowan until their new leader is revealed as either A) Triple H B) Bo Dallas C) Cena himself! Dun Dun Duuuuuuun!!!!!!
Battle for Control of WWE  Brock Lesnar (w/Triple H & Stephanie McMahon) vs Daniel Bryan(w/Mr McMahon)
I would love to see Mr McMahon return to WWE TV...
...and feud with Triple H and Stephanie for control of WWE. As Triple H and Stephanie's power grows, they hatch a plan to take full control of WWE. Triple H invites Mr McMahon to RAW and drops him with a pedigree and announces his intentions to drive Mr McMahon out of his the company he built. As he has so many times over his illustrious career, Mr McMahon decides to fight to hold on to everything he has. McMahon promises that he will rid the WWE of Triple H because that's what's best for business.
The two men agree to a WrestleMania showdown, each man choosing a representative to compete for them in the Battle for Control. Triple H strikes a deal with Paul Heyman that sees Brock Lesnar return to represent him, Heyman touting that the only thing that Brock Lesnar wants as much as breaking the streak is taking the WWE out of the hands of Vince McMahon. Meanwhile Mr McMahon shocks the world by revealing Daniel Bryan as his representative, with McMahon drawing the comparison that he too has always been an underdog and succeeded when nobody gave him a chance.
Winner: Brock Lesnar
The Beast Incarnate, the 1 in 21-1 does it again, Bryan goes down in a valient effort against Lesnar. Triple H has total control of WWE.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match Seth Rollins (c) vs Roman Reigns
I would have Seth Rollins cash in on John Cena around October/November time and have him win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and become The Authority's new golden boy. As Rollins holds onto the championship successfully defending it against John Cena and Daniel Bryan, at the Royal Rumble Roman Reigns wins the Rumble and books his place in the Main Event of WrestleMania 31. When Seth Rollins survives the elimination chamber with the World Heavyweight Championship in tact, it sets up a huge WM Main Event with Roman Reigns facing Seth Rollins one on one for the first time since The Shield split up, and the fact that the World Heavyweight Championship is on the line only adds to the high stakes.
Winner and NEW WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Roman Reigns
I believe this is the right way for Reigns to lift his first WHC in the main event of WrestleMania with a victory over the man who stabbed him in the back.

WWE Teasing Sting vs. The Undertaker, Bray Wyatt Praised Backstage

- Following the announcement that Sting will be featured in the upcoming WWE 2K15 video game and Sting stating in an interview this week that he'd like to wrestle The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31, WWE has posted a "Fantasy Matchup" video featuring the two legendary superstars.

WWE asks, "What would happen if The Phenom of WWE went one-on-one with the Icon of WCW?"
You can view the video at WWE.com.

- Bray Wyatt continues to earn the respect of everybody in the WWE locker room, including his peers and the legends working as producers. Wyatt got a lot of praise for the way he handled himself backstage at the WWE live event from Madison Square Garden.

Wyatt was busted up "the hard way" by Ric Flair, taking a punch to the face that left a bad cut that required a lot of work to cover up on Monday's RAW. Wyatt was said to be very "light hearted" and cool about the situation, which impressed a lot of people. It's understood that Wyatt is still early on in his career and has some time before he's solidified as a top act, but so far he's on the right track.

Sting Says He Wants To Wrestle The Undertaker At WrestleMania 31

Wrestling legend Sting spoke to Mirror.co.uk this week to hype his involvement in the upcoming WWE 2K15 video game. Sting spoke about a variety of topics, including why he decided to finally work with WWE after all these years, if he's interested in joining the WWE Hall of Fame, memories of his former tag team partner The Ultimate Warrior and his desire to wrestle The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31.

Here are the highlights of what Sting said about:

Finally Working With WWE: "Why now? It's a now or never thing. I've done so many things in the wrestling business but the one thing I'd never done was wrestle or be a part of the WWE family I didn't want too hang it all up and retire and disappear again without having done that in some capacity."

Joining The WWE Hall Of Fame: "Obviously it would be a great honour to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. It's nothing that I would say no to, that's for sure."

Memories Of The Ultimate Warrior: "Now I can look back and realise just how amazing it all was. It's remarkable really that both of us ended up taking it all as far as we did."

"It would seem like every three, four, five years or so we'd bump into each other. He called me twelve years ago, he needed some help with some stuff and of course I was there to help him out as much as I could. We never really kept in contact, but it was always friendly when we did. With his resurgence with WWE I was really looking forward to reconnecting with him again, and maybe even working with him in some capacity through WWE."

Wanting To Wrestle The Undertaker: "I've made it clear I'd love to have one last hurrah, one last big match hopefully. And of course I've been outspoken about Undertaker being the opponent. I know what happened at Wrestlemania where Brock Lesnar broke his streak. I think, or at least I'm hoping, that Taker's still going to come back and that he's not done. If he's not done, and he would consider doing it, I'd love to work with him one time.
"I'd love to wrestle him one time before I call it quits. Undertaker maintained a status in wrestling and the WWE that is second to none. He's a phenomenon,"

"How about San Francisco, 2015, in April?"

Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania 31?, Possible SummerSlam Spoiler

There continues to be talk within WWE that Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns will headline WrestleMania 31 next year. The belief is that Lesnar will defeat John Cena to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam, building to the moment that he drops the belt to Reigns as Reigns' crowning moment as the new top baby face in the company.

While there has been no confirmation that Lesnar is defeating Cena at SummerSlam, the word going around is that it is going to be a big show and that September's Night Of Champions pay-per-view, which will also feature Lesnar, will be just as big to try and persuade people to renew their expiring six-month WWE Network subscriptions.
